ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:<\/b>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects as you answer questions about the numerous amenities, local community, and beautiful grounds.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of an apartment home.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment home by collecting appropriate information and initiating background checks.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed their expectations, while maintaining resident retention.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n You will also use your attention to detail, planning and organizing skills to perform required office activities and coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Other duties as assigned\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n COMPETENCIES:\u00c2\u00a0<\/b>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n Effective communication and customer service skills\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Basic computer skills in a Windows environment\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Assist the leasing activities of the leasing staff.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Be courteous and professional\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Be well organized and be able to meet deadlines\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Follow all company policies and procedures\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Be professional and a team player\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n IMPORTANT EDUCATION\u00c2\u00a0<\/b>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE\u00c2\u00a0<\/b>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n 1+ years of related experience\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n WORK ENVIRONMENT<\/b>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
