Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n

The responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager are as follows:<\/p>\n

• Assist with accepting move out notices, service requests and resident transfers.<\/li>\n
• Responsible for implementing lease renewal and resident retention programs.<\/li>\n
• Manage resident relations issues, which includes taking resident phone calls, requests and concerns.<\/li>\n
• Analyze weekly leasing reports and forecast occupancy trends.<\/li>\n
• Assist with developing and tracking marketing strategies, including advertising, promotions and publications.<\/li>\n
• Manage rent collections, late notices and posting rent.<\/li>\n
• Review and inspect vacancies, make-ready apartments and models.<\/li>\n
• Inspect the property for community policy violations, needed repairs and overall landscaping.<\/li>\n
• Additional duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n

  The qualifications for an Assistant Property Manager are as follows:<\/p>\n

  • A minimum of 1 year of related leasing or property management experience.<\/li>\n
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor\u00e2\u0099s degree is preferred.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead a team.<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).<\/li>\n
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.<\/li>\n
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.<\/li>\n
  • Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
