Responsibilities<\/p>\n

The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician are as follows:<\/p>\n

• Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical. Installation of new appliances as needed.<\/li>\n
• Ensure resident requested service orders are completed on a timely basis.<\/li>\n
• Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times.<\/li>\n
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.<\/li>\n
• Additional duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications<\/p>\n

  The qualifications of the Maintenance Technician are as follows:<\/p>\n

  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience.<\/li>\n
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.<\/li>\n
  • Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems. HVAC certification is strongly preferred.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n
  • Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies.<\/li>\n
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.<\/li>\n
  • A valid drivers license required. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
