The Property Manager will also be responsible for the supervision and motivation of the onsite property team. Responsibilities<\/p>\n

The responsibilities of a Property Manager are as follows:<\/p>\n

• Manage the financial performance of the property by overseeing rents, occupancies and expenditures.<\/li>\n
• Supervise resident retention, renewal and leasing programs to maintain maximum occupancy.<\/li>\n
• Oversee resident relations, which includes taking resident phone calls, requests and concerns.<\/li>\n
• Ensure compliance with Lincoln Property Company policy, as well as federal and local regulations.<\/li>\n
• Manage, train and counsel onsite staff effectively.<\/li>\n
• Oversee daily leasing paperwork and proper completion of service requests.<\/li>\n
• Analyze monthly performance and budget projections, discuss strategies with the Regional Property Manager and complete annual asset business plans and budget forecasts.<\/li>\n
• Assigns and proofs all leasing paperwork<\/li>\n
• Audits and adheres to lease file policy with consistency<\/li>\n
• Additional duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications<\/p>\n

  The qualifications for a Property Manager are as follows:<\/p>\n

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in onsite property management, including leasing and bookkeeping knowledge.<\/li>\n
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead a team.<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).<\/li>\n
  • Exposure to property management software and accounting software. Experience with Yardi is a plus.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to review, understand and report financial information.<\/li>\n
  • A comprehensive understanding of marketing techniques and budgeting.<\/li>\n
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.<\/li>\n
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.<\/li>\n
  • Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
