The Manager In Development will be immersed in the daily operations of our premier communities and paired with an outstanding property management team to achieve comprehensive learning objectives. <\/p>\n

Essential Functions:<\/b><\/p>\n

• Engage with assigned mentors to develop and grow your knowledge and skill set through internal and external development opportunities<\/li>\n
• Assist in special projects or activities including due diligence, property acquisition\/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored events and functions<\/li>\n
• Maintain a customer focused attitude with both internal and external customers<\/li>\n
• Use strong sales and customer service skills with both internal and external customers<\/li>\n
• Provide Living Excellence at every point of contact, exceeding residents expectations<\/li>\n
• Showcase the value of the community features as they relate to the customer needs<\/li>\n
• Utilize and establish creative marketing and social media strategies to increase property traffic and assist with brand management<\/li>\n
• Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of the community s market position in surrounding submarket to maintain the advantage above the competition<\/li>\n
• Create and maintain excellent ongoing relationships with potential and current residents<\/li>\n
• Maintain professional demeanor during high stress situations<\/li>\n
• Use exceptional multi-tasking skills to streamline processes and effectively manage daily tasks<\/li>\n
• Collaborate with team members to plan and organize resident events in order to promote and increase positive resident relations<\/li>\n
• Strategically plan and meet individual and community performance goals consistent with market conditions (i. e., sales and marketing goals, customer sentiment goals, etc.)<\/li>\n
• Successfully adapt to change and lead through adversity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Bachelor s degree or higher required<\/li>\n
  • Must have strong leadership qualities and characteristics<\/li>\n
  • Experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred<\/li>\n
  • Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals<\/li>\n
  • Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook<\/li>\n
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n
  • Leasing and\/or property management experience highly desired<\/li>\n
  • Willingness to relocate<\/li>\n
  • Must be able to work required schedule which includes weekends and occasional evening work<\/li>\n
  • May require auto and airline travel out of town and\/or overnight trips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Job is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climb stairs) to tour, show, and inspect apartments on a daily basis<\/li>\n

    • Must handle stressful, urgent, novel and diverse work situations on a daily basis<\/li>\n
    • Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes in this position<\/li>\n
    • Works in a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment (i.e., heat, cold, damp, rain, etc.) when touring community<\/li>\n
    • Hazards can be avoided with proper lifting techniques, SDS and general safety training<\/li>\n
    • Will be regularly called upon to work long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)<\/li>\n
    • Position requires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities<\/li>\n
