Job Description Summary

Process vendor payments working closely with Client Accounting Personnel. Must be familiar with a variety of the fieldâ™s concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of tasks and relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals.

Responsible for one of more of the follow:

  • Process vendor payments in accounting software.
  • Perform check processing quality control review.
  • Mail room functions.
  • Batching process through completion.
  • Perform special handling requests.
  • Regularly update software and management of account status.
  • Partner with internal departments for time sensitive payments.
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal departments and banks relevant to Client Banking.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be local to St. Louis, MO, as this position will be required to go into the office
  • Associates Degree Preferred
  • 1+ years Accounts Payable/Disbursement experience preferred
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft suite programs.  Excel knowledge required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of treasury management and internal controls.
  • Ability to provide detailed reports and analysis of planned work, actual work completed forecasted to be completed.
  • Strong communication that allows for solid partnerships and information sharing through formal and informal channels to stakeholders up to and including senior leadership.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively relay updates on status requests.
  • Effectively work with time sensitive requests and provide updates to other departments and/or leadership.
  • Resourceful and experienced with account trouble shooting and resolving account issues.
